98 Mute
98 Mute was a hardcore punk band that started in Hermosa Beach, California, in 1993. After signing with Theologian Records in 1995, they released their debut self-titled album in 1996, which gained traction through features on skate videos and various Californian punk compilations. Throughout their career, 98 Mute toured with well-known bands such as The Offspring, Blink-182, and Pennywise. Following their second album release in 1998, they moved to Epitaph Records, where they produced two more albums before disbanding in September 2002, shortly after releasing their fourth album, “After the Fall.” The band came together again in 2016 for a reunion.
