Anonymous
Anonymous was a pop punk band from Andorra that gained national attention in 2007 when they represented their country in the Eurovision Song Contest. Formed in 2004, the band built a modest following in Andorra and northern Spain, particularly in Catalonia. Their biggest moment came when they performed the song “Salvem el món” during Eurovision, marking a notable achievement for Andorran music on an international stage.
Eurovision Song Contest 2007
In 2007, Anonymous represented Andorra in the Eurovision Song Contest with their song “Salvem el món” (“Let’s Save the World”). Although they gave a strong performance, the band finished 12th in the semi-finals, just missing the cut for the top ten, which would have advanced them to the final round. Despite the setback, it was still the best result Andorra had ever achieved in the contest. Interestingly, one of the band’s members, Narvaez, was underage and thus unable to participate in the performance, leaving Francesca, Martínez, and Gallego to perform the song live.
Nick Gain
Following the band’s Eurovision appearance, lead singer Niki Francesca went on to further his education in music. He studied music business and technology and earned a professional certificate in music production from Berklee College of Music. Today, he performs under the stage name Nick Gain, continuing his career as a musician and producer.
