Appendix

Appendix is a Finnish punk rock band originating from Pori, Finland. Formed in 1980, they have been active during the periods of 1980–1985 and 1995–present. Known for their blend of punk rock and hardcore punk, Appendix has made significant contributions to the Finnish punk scene with their energetic performances and authentic sound.

Formation and Early Years (1980–1985)

Appendix was founded in 1980 in Pori, Finland. The original lineup included Mikki Borgersen on vocals, Ahti Impola on guitar, Vesku Koivusalo on bass, and Vesku’s brother, Jaska Karumo, on drums. Their debut EP, EP, was released in 1982, followed by their first studio album, Ei raha oo mun valuuttaa, in the same year under Propaganda Records.

• In the spring of 2015, Appendix embarked on a West Coast Tour in the United States, performing as the lead act at Manic Relapse festivals in Oakland, California.
