History

Fabulous Disaster began their journey in the San Francisco punk scene in 1998. Their debut album, Pretty Killers, was released on Evil Eye Records in 1999, which marked their entry into the broader punk community. In 2000, the band signed with Fat Wreck Chords‘ Pink and Black imprint, a label known for promoting female punk acts. Their second album, Put Out or Get Out, was a breakthrough, leading to extensive touring.

The band became known for sharing stages with groups like NOFX, The Mad Caddies, The Briefs, The Real McKenzies, and The Dickies. In 2001, Fabulous Disaster won the SF Weekly Best Punk Band award while on the Fat Wreck Tour, a milestone in their career. Their fourth and final full-length album, Love At First Fight, was released in May 2007. However, by the end of 2007, Fabulous Disaster disbanded, closing a chapter on their impactful run in the punk scene.
