Band Members

As per Oricon, Husking Bee comprised:

  • Isobe Masafumi – Vocals
  • Kudo “Tekkin” Tetsuya – Bass
  • Hiramoto Leona – Drums

Their debut transpired in 1995 with “NOT SUPERSTITIOUS III.” In 2000, Hirabayashi Kazuya, now the lead singer and guitarist of the band Fine Lines, joined as a new member. Despite a considerable following among Japanese youth, the band unexpectedly disbanded on March 6, 2005, without offering an explanation for their decision.

Reunion and Continued Journey

In a surprising turn of events, the band regrouped in February 2012, reigniting their musical journey.

Contributions to Other Media

Hirabayashi Kazuya lent his singing voice to the character Koyuki Tanaka in the anime adaptation of BECK. Additionally, the band contributed the song “Brightest” to the series’ second original soundtrack.
