Johnny Socko Quatro Review
Ska, unfortunately, hasn’t gained widespread popularity in the US, missing out on the recognition it deserves for its lively and laid-back musical vibes.
“Quatro” doesn’t strictly conform to traditional ska, but its influences are unmistakable, particularly noticeable in the opening track, “Dancin’ Queen,” as well as in the tunes “Save Yourself” and “Hey Hey Hi.” Personal favorites include the energetic “Old School Master” and the intriguing “Coffee Girl.” If you haven’t yet crossed paths with Johnny Socko, you probably will soon. Take a moment to sample the tracks and form your own impressions. I’m confident that you’ll find “Quatro” to be exceptionally good.
