The Carrier

The Carrier are a formidable force in the hardcore punk scene, originating from Boston, Massachusetts, United States, in 2006. Their music, characterized by its melodic intensity and emotional depth, resonated with audiences worldwide.

History

In 2006, The Carrier made their debut with a self-released demo, recorded at the Getaway Group Studios under the guidance of Jay Maas. This marked the beginning of their journey, as they swiftly gained recognition for their raw energy and impassioned performances.

Following a year of relentless live shows, The Carrier partnered with Words of War Records to release their self-titled 7″ in the summer of 2007. Their inaugural full-length album, One Year Later, dropped later that same year under the banner of Rock Vegas Records, further solidifying their place in the hardcore punk scene.

The band’s momentum continued to build with the release of their second 7″, No Love Can Save Me, through Deathwish Inc. in 2008. The following year saw Deathwish Inc. reissue One Year Later on vinyl for the first time, licensed from Rock Vegas Records. In 2011, The Carrier delivered their sophomore full-length effort, Blind To What Is Right, once again through Deathwish Inc.

Throughout their career, The Carrier embarked on extensive tours alongside notable acts like Agnostic Front and Shai Hulud, captivating audiences across the United States, Europe, and Canada with their electrifying live performances.

In early 2012, The Carrier announced their breakup through a poignant letter, bidding farewell with a final European tour and an unforgettable hometown show in Boston.
